LifeRock™ Shapes Aquarium Dry Live Rock

LifeRock™ begins as a sunlit piece of Pleistocene era seafloor thriving with living creatures. Over the next 100 millennia and the retreat of the ocean, this ancient piece of seafloor, now well inland, has formed a pure, aragonite-bearing rock. This clean base rock is 97% calcium carbonate with minor trace elements such as strontium, magnesium, and barium. This base has an amazing 50% void space which will provide residence for billions of water-purifying bacteria. LifeRock™ is infused with bacteria using AragAlive™ technology which results in a reduction of traditional cycling times. Each piece of LifeRock™ has multiple engineered aragonite coatings that not only maintain the extensive macro-and micro- porosity but yield the soft muted colors of a living reef. LifeRock™ is a superior rock of true marine origin without hitchhikers, organics, or algae. No curing is required. With LifeRock™ you will get the look of an established reef from Day 1.

Sold By The Box - 20 Lbs

Each box contains 2x 12" Arch pieces, 1x Cave piece and 1x Donut Piece. The box weighs about 20 Lbs. We recommend about 1/2 - 1 pound of rock per gallon depending on style of aquascape. We also recommend purchasing a little more than you may need since any extra can be used in the sump for added filtration.

    Shipping Note

While we make every effort to securely pack the rock, UPS & FedEx are not always gentle with heavy products and they do not consider this product insurable. Because of this, there is some inherent risk with shipping rock like this across the country and it is impossible to replace or refund broken pieces. If this does happen most pieces can be repaired with epoxy or mortar.
