ChemiClean Red Cyano Remover - Liquid

ChemiClean cleans stains of red, black, blue-green, and methane (bubble) producing cyanobacteria (red slime) in marine aquariums. ChemiClean works within 48 hours, oxidizing trapped organic sludge and promotes an ideal enzyme balance. It is completely safe for all fish, corals, invertebrates, and nitrifying bacteria in reef systems. It’s simple, quick and easy to use. Works in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

For best results, turn off or remove any carbon filtration source, UV sterilizers, and ozone before administering ChemiClean to the aquarium. After treatment is complete perform a 20% water change, after that point any carbon filtration, UV, protein skimmers, or ozone may be turned back on.

Due to increased biological activity we recommend increasing your O2 levels by the addition of airstones prior to and during treatment.

Directions:

• Turn off any UV sterilizers, ozonizers and remove any Chemi-pure or carbon before treatment.
• Continue using protein skimmer, although skimmer may require adjustment or removal of collection cup to prevent excessive overflow.
• Administer ChemiClean per directions on packaging.
• Successful treatment may take up to 48 hours. After the 48 hour treatment period, perform a 20% water change.
• Turn on any UV sterilizers and ozonators, replace with new carbon.
• Repeat as necessary. ChemiClean can be used monthly as a regular component of aquarium maintenance.
