Reef Minerals: Zinc
Reef Minerals from Reef Factory Lab is a set of 23 additives necessary for maintaining stable water chemistry in a saltwater aquarium with the goal of maintaining them as close to natural sea water as possible.
Zinc Reef Minerals has been developed with the aim of rapidly replenishing deficiencies and sudden drops in Zinc in seawater.
What Does Zinc Do in a Reef Aquarium?
Zinc plays a role in the metabolic cycles in corals and regulates oxidative processes, protecting corals from excess energy from lighting.
Dosing Instructions: Adding 1 ml of Zinc Reef Minerals increases the Zinc level by 2 ppm in a 100L (26 Gallon) marine aquarium.
Use within 3 months after opening. Shake well before use. Store in a cool and dry place, in the original packaging, at a temperature of 41°F to 86°F (5°C to 30°C). Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Products are intended for use in marine aquariums only. Keep out of reach of children.
Recommended Zinc Level: 2-5 ppm
Maximum Safe Daily Dose: 1 ml per 100 liters of water
