Ciprofloxacin Antibacterial Extra Strength 500mg - 10 Tablets

Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic medication used to treat different strains of bacteria that can afflict your fish & corals. Ciprofloxacin is also effective against gram-negative and some gram-positive bacterial pathogens of fish.

Important Note: Antibiotic medications can kill beneficial nitrifying bacteria so it is recommended to add nitrifying bacteria after treatment.

Treatment:

1 Ciprofloxacin 500mg tablet treats 20 gallons of water.

Treatment lasts 7-10 days (Note: You only add treatment once, not everyday).

It is recommended to do a water change after the 7-10 day treatment. 

Please Note: You will need 1 Tablet per 20 gallons of water.

Directions:

• Note: It is best to add treatment at night as lighting can diminish the effectiveness of the medication.
• Turn off UV Sterilizer.
• Remove activated carbon and Purigen. GFO and Phosban media can be used as it only removes phosphates.
• Add 1 tablet per 20 gallons into a bottle of aquarium water and mix until dissolved.
• Once dissolved, add in high flow area. It is best to add treatment at night as lighting can diminish the effectiveness of the medication.
• Treatment lasts for 7-10 days.

Important Note: When treating an entire aquarium always keep a close eye on tank inhabitants for any signs of stress. If any signs of stress are visible, turn on UV sterilizer and add activated carbon to remove medication.
