There are a few items that are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. Any item that drop ships will be marked on the product page. Large items like aquariums, stands, and lights may take anywhere from 1-3 weeks for final delivery.
Returns For New Unopened Products Within 30 Days
We're happy to accept returns of new products in their original packaging within 30 days of original purchase for a full refund. Just give us a call or send us an email, you must receive an RMA number before shipping back your products. Returns received without an RMA number will be refused and sent back.
Returned items must be sent back to us in new and unused condition in the original packaging along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, cables, etc.
Special order items are non returnable and are marked on the items page.

Returns For Unused Open Box Products
Hold on to your packaging! If you purchased a product in the last 30 days that's opened but unused, has never seen saltwater and still has all of its original packaging (warranty cards, manuals, accessories, etc.) we can accept your return and offer store credit or a refund to your original form of payment minus a small 15% restocking fee.
- Products must be returned in the original packaging. Products returned with broken manufacturer seals, damaged or altered packaging, missing packing material, warranty cards, manuals and/or accessories will be treated as an unused but open item.
- Items purchased as new but have been opened and received more than 30 days after the original purchase will be returned to you free of charge.
- Items that show any sign of exposure to water or use, returned with damaged or altered packaging or missing packing material including warranty cards, manuals and accessories are not eligible for return and will be returned to you free of charge.
- All items sold under clearance, blowout, or liquidation are final and not eligible for return.

The AvidAqua NeaterHeater is a magnetic, suction-cup-free mounting system designed to securely hold up to two aquarium heaters in place. It eliminates the common failure points of traditional heater mounts while keeping heaters properly positioned for safe, consistent temperature control.
Using AvidAqua’s sealed ModMag magnet system and Slide-Loc tool-free silicone retention design, the NeaterHeater provides a reliable, low-profile solution for mounting glass or titanium heaters on glass or acrylic aquariums up to 3/8" thick.
Secure Dual-Heater Mounting
The NeaterHeater is designed to hold up to two glass or titanium heaters, making it ideal for systems with a redundant heating setup. Heaters stay firmly positioned on the aquarium or sump wall, preventing slipping, sagging, or contact with other equipment during normal operation or maintenance.
Compatible with most common heater sizes, the NeaterHeater installs cleanly on glass or acrylic up to 3/8" thick and keeps heaters properly spaced.
Sealed ModMag Magnetic System
AvidAqua’s ModMag mounting system replaces suction cups with fully sealed, ultrasonically sealed magnets. Each magnet enclosure is pressure tested to prevent water intrusion and corrosion, eliminating one of the most common failure points of magnetic aquarium accessories.
A built-in shake test allows you to quickly verify that the magnet seal remains intact, providing long-term confidence in the safety of your system.
Slide-Loc Retention and Modular Design
Heaters are secured using patent-pending Slide-Loc technology, which holds heaters in place without annoying thumbscrews. Installation is tool free, and adjustments are quick and simple.
Included ModMag expansion adapters allow additional magnets to be added for increased holding power when needed. The ModMag platform also supports other compatible accessories, allowing multiple tools to share a single, clean mounting solution. Backed by an AvidAqua Lifetime Warranty, the NeaterHeater is built for long-term reliability.
What’s the Difference Between NeaterHeater and NeaterHeater Pro?
Both versions use the same Slide-Loc heater retention system and sealed ModMag magnets, but the NeaterHeater Pro adds more holding power and flexibility.
- NeaterHeater includes one ModMag Mega and mounts on glass or acrylic up to 3/8" thick.
- NeaterHeater Pro includes two ModMag Mega magnet sets, supports thicker walls up to 1/2", and can be configured as a single stronger mount or split for longer heaters.
