Drop Shipping
There are a few items that are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. Any item that drop ships will be marked on the product page. Large items like aquariums, stands, and lights may take anywhere from 1-3 weeks for final delivery.
Returns
We're happy to accept returns of new products in their original packaging within 60 days of original purchase for a full refund. Just give us a call or send us an email, you must receive an RMA number before shipping back your products. Returns received without an RMA number will be refused and sent back.
Returned items must be sent back to us in new and unused condition in the original packaging along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, cables, etc.
Special order items are non returnable and are marked on the items page.
Returns For Unused Open Box Products
Hold on to your packaging! If you purchased a product in the last 30 days that's opened but unused, has never seen saltwater and still has all of its original packaging (warranty cards, manuals, accessories, etc.) we can accept your return and offer a refund to your original form of payment minus a small 10% restocking fee.
- Products must be returned in the original packaging. Products returned with broken manufacturer seals, damaged or altered packaging, missing packing material, warranty cards, manuals and/or accessories will be treated as an unused but open item.
- Items purchased as new but have been opened and received more than 30 days after the original purchase will be returned to you free of charge.
- Items that show any sign of exposure to water or use, returned with damaged or altered packaging or missing packing material including warranty cards, manuals and accessories are not eligible for return and will be returned to you free of charge.
- All items sold under clearance, blowout, or liquidation are final and not eligible for return.

Ultra-pure Grade Soda Ash for 2-part dosing in your reef tank!
Bulk Reef Supply 2-part additives are the perfect solution to replenish the intake of calcium and alkalinity coral consumes when it grows. Using only pharmaceutical grade ingredients allows you to keep a cleaner reef with fewer impurities, leading to faster growth and more brilliant coloration of your coral. All BRS additives mix crystal clear and do not leave any nasty residues or brown impurities behind like other calcium and alkalinity additives.
Each container is professionally weighed to make 1 gallon of Grade Soda Ash solution that can be used to accompany any dosing method or used with other Bulk Reef Supply additives for an easy to follow system of dosing. The BRS system uses a balanced 1:1 calcium to alkalinity ratio that keeps dosing simple and doesn't require you to be a math wizard. In most cases, the amount of BRS Alkalinity solution you need to dose will match the amount of BRS 2 Part Calcium solution required.
Mixing Instructions - BRS Soda Ash Liquid Alkalinity
- Using a clean 1-gallon jug or container, fill it 4/5 full of RO/DI water.
- Add a single Pre-Portioned package to the 1-gallon jug.
- Screw on the cap to the jug and shake it for about 10 seconds to start the dissolving process.
- Remove the cap and fill the container the rest of the way with RO/DI water.
- Replace the cap and give the container a few more shakes and let it sit until the salts are fully dissolved which should only take a couple hours.
2 Part Dosing
As corals grow they consume calcium and alkalinity but to keep the levels steady in a reef tank requires the use of magnesium too, so it is more like 3-part dosing, to be honest. Reefers will use calcium chloride and soda ash (sodium carbonate) to maintain their reef tanks chemistry daily and add a magnesium supplement every couple weeks. Magnesium supplements are usually a blend of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate to help keep the sulfate to chloride ratio balanced in the aquarium. When starting a 2 part dosing system it is important to use a good test kit to establish a baseline. We really like using Salifert test kits or Hanna Colorimeters for their accuracy and repeatability which leads to a much more stable reef and overall coral health. Stability is one of the keys to keeping a saltwater tank healthy over a long span of time and most reefers will set up an automated system that doses their aquariums needed additives daily removing repetitive (and forgettable) chore. There are purpose-built dosing systems like the Kamor X1 Pro and Neptune DOS that are super easy to program and keeps everything in a compact package.
